Dorothy "Dottie" Moore Jones, 69, of Honea Path beloved wife of 38 years to Todd Jones, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Born in Butzbach, Germany, she was a daughter of the late William Rudolph "Rudy" Moore and Judith Hartsell Moore. Dottie was a proud Army veteran who carried her spirit of service into her everyday life. For over 25 years, she volunteered at the Hodges Church of God Food Pantry, helping those in need and nurturing her community and she formerly worked at Park Seed. She had a green thumb and loved nothing more than planting flowers and tending to her garden. Those who knew her appreciated her love for traveling and camping, which she often shared with her family. She was an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book, making memories that will last a lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Deborah White, Michael Moore and Marty Moore.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Jada Mixon (Kimberly) Losa Panapa and Josh Jones; sister, Tina Gilstrap (Scott); grandchildren, Chris Panapa, Makala Panapa and Levi Mixon; and host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Danny Bishop officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm.
