Roy Duane Harrison, 64, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Kenneth Roy and Elaine Bonds Harrison. Duane was employed by Southern Metal Works. His favorite things were his truck and watching forensic shows. He loved playing on his computer.

Duane is survived by his companion, Renee Rice; stepdaughter, Jennifer Gust; sisters, Debra Blizzard and Phyllis Brewster; his brother, David Wayne Harrison; grandchildren, Priscilla Watson, Duane Hall, Johnathon Furman; aunts, Mary Walker (J. W.) and Myrtis Forehand; and uncles, Rev. Carroll Harrison (Lois) and Lee Roy Harrison, Jr. (Norma).

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Lee Roy, Sr. and Helen Harrison

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carroll Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be J. W. Walker, Lee Roy Harrison, Jr., David Harrison, Jamey Walker, Jeff Pardue and Nick Anderson.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the committal service.
