Earl Glenn �Red Penny� Proctor, 74, of 210 Kentucky Avenue, husband of Mary Monfasani Proctor passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James and Dessie Butler Proctor. He retired from Greenwood Mills Adams Plant where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was of the Methodist faith. He was twice married, first to the late Jo Ann Doolittle Proctor and predeceased by two brothers Howard and Rusty Proctor. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two sons, Joe Proctor and his wife Janet of Greenwood and Mickey Proctor of Travelers Rest; a step son Thomas Alexander McManus and his wife Gwen of Fair Play, SC; a sister Katherine Fields of Ninety Six; a half sister Mary Etta Shipes of Greenwood; a brother Charles �Biddy� Proctor and his wife Bobbie of Greenwood; six grandchildren: Michael Proctor and wife Kelly, Paula Barnes all of Greenwood, Glenn Proctor and fianc� Loretta of Rock Hill� Tommy Ann Proctor of Charleston; Nicole Proctor of Augusta and Ashley Proctor of Madison, GA; four grandchildren: Kacy Lovett of Greenwood, Aden and Piper Proctor, both of Madison, GA and Margo Marie McManus of Fair Play. Pallbearers will be Michael Proctor, Glenn Proctor, Steve Proctor, Jeremy Fuller, Stan Bryant and Tom McManus.
