Kenneth Earl Sims, 52, of 204 Old Greenwood Rd, Greenwood, husband of Delores Kernells Sims, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Mary Thompson Sims and the late Barry Keith Sims. He was a welder and an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and canoeing. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his wife of the home; his mother of Laurens County; a daughter, Crystal Kernells; a son, Taylor Gable; two sisters, Sonya Goff and Teresa Coffey; a brother, Ricky Sims, all of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Tristen K. Sims, Amber L. Crosby, and Trey Crosby; and his beloved dog "Hondo ". Pallbearers will be Doug Bohler, Larry Weeks, Phil McKelly, Van Weeks, Tyrone Schultz, Justin Gurney, Billy Hastings, Robert Williamson, and Travas Hadden.
