Leonard Edward "Ed " Doolittle, Sr., 84, of 210 Hollingsworth Road, husband of Doris Jean Wright Doolittle, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Joseph Butler Doolittle and Lucille Elmore Doolittle Fuller. He retired from Flour Daniels and was of the Church of God faith. Surviving are eight children, Ann Williams (Jimmy) of Ninety Six, Leonard "Eddie " Doolittle, Jr. of Ninety Six, Danny Doolittle (Debra) of Ninety Six, Cathy Arnold (John) of Greenwood, Jody Hudson of Virginia, Jeff Doolittle of Ninety Six, Wayne Doolittle in the U.S. Navy, and Allen Doolittle (Amy) of Hodges; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Seymour and Elizabeth Fuller. Pallbearers will be Joe Fuller, Jeff Lewis, Joe Tullis, Gene Williams, Ross Doolittle, and John Arnold. The family is at the home his son, Danny, 120 Pender Row Circle, Ninety Six.
