Edward L. �Bo� Price, 77, husband of Mae Burroughs Price, died Sunday, June 19, 2011. Born in Hodges, he was a son of the late Clyde and Bertha Davis Price. He was a commercial pilot, having flown for Greenwood Mills and A.R. Wood, and was the former owner of CarQuest Auto Parts Stores in Greenwood and Laurens. He retired as a Major from the US Air Force in 1971 after 20 years of service and serving as a tanker pilot during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife; a son, Eddie Price of Waterloo; a daughter, Debbie Price of Greenwood; four sisters, Mary Hodges, Ruth Leopard and her husband, Royce, all of Hodges, Merle Hill and her husband, Milo, of Spartanburg and Nancy Holtzclaw and her husband, Jimmy, of Denver, CO; two brothers, Rudolph Price and his wife, Nora, of Hodges and Dewey Price of Ninety Six; and a grandson, Keith Webber, 2nd Lt., US Army of Ft. Sill, OK. He was preceded in death by a son, Mike W. Price and a sister, Dot Manley.
