Edna Morgan Hinton White, 77, widow of Howard White, died Friday, January 23, 2009, at Savannah Heights Nursing Home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Martha Morgan. She was retired from Monsanto and was of the Church of God faith. She was twice married, first to the late Ernest F. Hinton and was predeceased by a daughter Diane Dickerson. Surviving are a son Joe Hinton of Greenwood; a sister Doodle Finley of AZ; three grand-daughters Angie Salters and Barbara Dickerson both of Chester and Tammi Hinton of Greenwood; two grandsons Jamie Dickerson of Chester and Joe Hinton Jr of Greenwood; seven great grandchildren. The family is at the home of her son, 115 Barkwood Lane, Greenwood.
