Edna Louise Holloway, 80, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at NHC of Greenwood.

Born in Bowman, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late James Randolph Jones and Geneva Hall Jones. Edna retired from Greenwood Mills Adams Plant. Edna was a people person, loved to talk to everyone and never met a stranger. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, LaVonia Jane Haynes and Rachel McAllister; and a brother, Morris Jones.

Surviving are her children, Karen Tholen (Gary), Kenny McElroy (Sheryl), Kathy Guest (Cecil) and Scott Holloway (Mary); fourteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Harley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joshua Davison and Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Roger McAllister, Roger Lee McAllister, Jason McAllister, Rodney Pilgrim, Rodney Pilgrim, Jr. and Andy Hardwick.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1-2 pm.
