Edward Carlton Bryson, 64, of 201 Dendy Bridge Road, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Leslie Stafford Bryson and Bertha Kelly Bryson. Edward was the former director of maintenance at Greenwood YMCA. Surviving are three sons, Edward C. Bryson, Jr., Jeremy Scott Bryson, both of Marion and Kelly Hawk Bryson of Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Savannah Lane Bryson of Due West; a sister, Ellen Bryson Martin of Greenwood; a brother, Ray Bryson of Murrells Inlet; and two grandchildren.
