Edward Beadle Stecher, 87, of 137 Rhett Court, husband of Frances McCutcheon Stecher, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Erskine Peglar and Elizabeth Shank Stecher. He was retired from Aramco and served in the US Army 101st Airborne Division during World War II, where he received three bronze stars and a victory medal. Survivors include his wife of the home and a daughter, Kathy Rosendahl of Suffolk, VA.
