Edwin Augustus "Toots " Wade, 87, of Emerald Gardens, widower of Cinda Estelle Wade, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Born on Morehead, NC, he was the son of the late David Wade and Clell Watson Wade. Edwin was a U. S. Army and Coast Guard veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and was a manager for the Civil Service where he retired from Camp Lejeune, NC. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Wade. Surviving are a nephew, Tony Balchin and his wife Marcia, of Ninety Six; two sisters, Frances Sinclair and Rachel Katz; and three grandchildren, Cinda Bass, Charlie and Wade Westmoreland, all of Jacksonville, NC.
