M. Elaine Weathersbee Evans, 76, formerly of 105 Columbia Street widow, of Wilton Major Evans died Sunday, December 06, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Aiken, she was the daughter of the late Theodore F. and Daisy Mitchell Weathersbee. Mrs. Evans retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Marie Cabello and husband, Guadalupe, of Bradley; two sons, Gene Evans and Ray Evans and his wife, Kathy, all of Greenwood; five grandchildren; a great grandchild and a special great niece, Amanda Rish. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Rish and by a brother, Lewis Weathersbee.
