Elaine Stewart Miner, 89, of 623 Fairforest Drive, widow of Jerry McAuley Miner, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Graddick and Lila Ellison Stewart. She was retired from Capsagel and a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Barry Miner (Janice) of Waterloo; grandchildren, Greg Miner (Julie) of Waterloo and Keran Miner Hodges of Greenwood; and six great grandchildren, Alex Miner, Logan Miner, Alyse Hodges, Garrett Hodges, Kadyn Hodges, and Raegan Hodges, all of Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Stevens and Frances Keadle and three brothers, Hoyt Stewart, Furman Stewart, and Ray F. Stewart.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Greg Miner, Alex Miner, Logan Miner, Garrett Hodges, Steve Simmons, and Brad Stewart.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
