On June 5, 2009, Eleanor Litts (Ms. Ellie) left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in her heavenly home. She will be joining her husband Raymond P. Litts in heaven. She will be awaiting the arrival of her children and their families. The family includes seven children and their spouses: Kathy Murray, Bobbie and Marty Mayer, Hollie Litts, Martha and Raymond Litts Jr., Margie and Jim Pines, Mark Litts, and Matthew and Libby Litts. She was a grandmother to eight: Tony and Bethany Murray, Matthew Mayer, Raymond Felton, Joseph Litts, Brian Pines, Andrew Pines, Adam Pines. She was also the great grandmother of Maggie and Emma Mayer. All of her family was precious in her heart and eyes. She was a member of countless church, civic, and political organizations. The closest place in her heart was for those individuals and organizations that protected the lives of the unborn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: SC Citizens for Life, Leath Chapel or the new Greenwood County Library. Ellie has lived a blessed life. It is her prayer that she has been a blessing in her life and of service to others. She will be greatly missed by her family and many others. Micah 6:8
