Eleanor Linda Bell Emily, 78, of Greenwood, wife of Robert "Bob" Emily, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Chitina, AK, she was a daughter of the late Henry Thomas Bell and Etta Pete Bell. Eleanor retired from Greenwood School District #50 having served at both Lakeview and Mathews Elementary schools as a special education teacher's aid where she was beloved by both her students and the staff. She was a Christ follower and a member of North Side Baptist Church for over thirty years and was a devoted member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband Bob of the home; children, Robert "Rob" Emily (Lisa) and Lana Ramey (Charles), both of Greenwood; sisters, Genevieve "Ginger" Jacobson of Anchorage, AK and Deborah "Debbie" Barlip of Kenny Lake, AK; and grandchildren, Dayton Brown, Robert Emily, and Matthew Emily, as well as her two great-grandchildren Dallas and Abi Hughes.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Will Emily.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 27th at North Side Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Lethco officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the church.
