Elizabeth Fain Holley, 86, of 131 Pinehaven Drive, Ninety Six, widow of Charles Alvin Holley, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Wallace Fain and Mamie Bridges Fain. She retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Elizabeth enjoyed baking and decorating cakes in her free time. Most of all she loved taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her children, Debra "Debbie" K. Holley (David), Robert V. Holley (Janeen), Paul E. Holley (Bet), and Sondra Alford (Brad); grandchildren, Krista Young, Kayla Pruitt, Joseph Holley, Joshua Holley, Kasey Holley, Will Avery, and John Avery, Justin Alford, and Brady Leigh Alford; great grandchildren, Baylor Collins, Bryar Young, Eliza Lynn Pruitt, Hattie Kate Holley, Blakely Kate Holley, Finley Young, Olivia Pruitt, Nolan Pruitt, Bowman Holley, Braxton Holley, and Rivers Holley; and sister-in-law, Jeanette H. Vaughn.
Elizabeth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kelvin Hinson officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Ninety Six.
Pallbearers will be Justin Alford, Joseph Holley, Joshua Holley, John Avery, Baylor Collins, and Will Avery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
