Elizabeth Addy Jester, 90, of 110 Kitson Street, Ninety Six, widow of Floyd T. Jester, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Saluda, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Maggie Stone Addy. Elizabeth retired from Greenwood Mills- Adams Plant after 42 years of service and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Cambridge United Methodist Church where she was in the choir and taught Sunday school. Surviving are a son, Charles (Connie) Jester of Cross Hill; a daughter, Barbara Hodges Shirley of Greenwood; a brother, Carl Addy of Saluda; a sister-in-law, Helen Addy of Saluda; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Danny Berry, Lee Wilkie, James Henderson, Mickey Goodman, Johnny Rhodes and Tommy Balchin.
