Aurie Elizabeth S. King, 87, of 113 Pineview Drive, wife of Lewie Cecil King, died Sunday, November 17, 2019 at her home.

Born in Union, she was a daughter of the late Nathan L. Scoggins and Maggie Grier Scoggins Sanders. She received her B.A. degree in nursing from the Baptist College in Columbia and was a registered nurse. Married to Lewie King in 1956, she was a member of New Market Baptist Church since 1972, where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband of the home; two children, Susan Rose Lance and Anthony Lewie King (Rebecca), both of Greenwood; grandchildren, Crystal Rose Lance, Ashley King Suttles (Thomas) and Anthony King, Jr., all of Greenwood and Allison King of Columbia; and great grandchildren, Abbey Suttles and Ashlynn Suttles.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Suttles, Keith Gary, Darren DeLoach, Vince Moss, Randall Barrett and Robert Vines.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
