Ellen Pruett Anthony, 66, of 218 Kentucky Avenue, wife of Gary L. Anthony, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Hoke Pruett and Christine McCranie Swindler. She was previously employed by Southside Drug Store and she was a homemaker for many years. Ellen was a member of Woodfields Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of the home; special cousins, Melissa McClain and her son Dylan McClain, Wilson Jones and his wife Pam, Lance Dove, and Lynn Boyter and her son Kenny Boyter; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joy and Dana Gravley and their family. Pallbearers will be Wayne Cullens, Lance Dove, Jarron Gravley and Anthony Gravley. The family would like to thank and give gratitude to Self Regional Home Health Care, the Doctors at Piedmont Cardiology, and Petra Health and Rehab Care of McCormick. The family is at the home.
