Elsie Slice Collins, 91, formerly of Draper Street, Ninety Six, widow of James Crawford Collins, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Wesley Commons. Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah Malcom Slice. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she formerly taught Sunday School. Surviving is her son, Austin Collins and his wife, Lori, of Colorado Springs, CO and grandchildren, Chris Collins Raleigh-Durham, NC, Scott Collins of Sandy, OR, Aaron Witt and his wife, Kimberly, of Greenville and Glenn Witt and his wife, Taylor, of Ninety Six and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Witt and a grandson, Chuck Pow.
