Emily Marie Rushton Campbell, 82, formerly of 214 Utopia Acres, widow of John F. Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at Petra Health and Rehab in McCormick. Born in Saluda, she was the daughter of the late Marion Robert Rushton and Jeanette Banks Rushton. Emily retired from Greenwood Mills-Mathews Plant after 45 years of service and was in the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church where she was in the Eilen Barnes Sunday school class. Surviving are a daughter, Vickie (Buddy) Hastings of Greenwood; a brother, Al Rushton of FL; two grandchildren, Amy (Keith) Lewis and Rusty Skidmore, both of Greenwood; and three great grandchildren, Toby Skidmore, Chassidy Marie Lewis and Clair Campbell Lewis, all of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Rushton and Jack Rushton.
