Emma Lou Smith Timms, 78, of 804 Truett Avenue, wife of Manuel Timms, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Smith and Odessa Griffin Smith. Emma retired from Park Davis and attended South Greenwood Assembly of God. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two sons, Keith Timms and Doyle Timms, both of Greenwood; two sisters, Annie Mae Lawson of Woodruff and Joyce Fox of Spartanburg; and a grandson, Bryan Timms of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Lynn Miller, Preston Upton Jr., Jimmy Fox, Ray White, Larry Timms, and Blake Timms. Memorials may be made to the charity of one�s choice. The family is at the home.
