Emogene Bearman, 84, formerly of Sumter, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Magnolia Manor, Greenwood. She was born in Hazzard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Noble and retired from Carolina Furniture Works in Sumter after more than thirty years of service. Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Young and her husband, David, of Providence, RI, Forrest-Tina Carr of St. Louis, MO and Donna Beardsley and her husband, Thomas, of Greenwood; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was recently preceded in death by a daughter, Orvette Green.
