Eric Glenn Petrus, 31, of 216 Woodhaven Court, husband of Cheyanne Anders Petrus, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Hospice House.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the Rev. Ken Petrus and Gail Stone Petrus. Eric was a graduate of Emerald High School and Lander University, where he received his degree in Business Finance. He was an avid golfer and loved hiking and camping. He was a member of North Side Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of the home; his parents of Greenwood; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Petrus, Jr. of South Milwaukee, WI and Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Betty) Wilson of Greenwood; his sister, Ashley Smith (Lin) of Greenwood; his brother, Stephen Petrus (Shannon) of Simpsonville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Bonnie) Anders of Greenwood; his brother-in-law, Chris Anders (Gisela) of Tampa, FL; and his much loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Al Stone.
