Erwin Reinhold Miller, 83, of 126 Amherst Drive, husband of Elinor Ann Snider Miller, died Monday, July 6, 2009 at Wesley Commons. He was a former resident of Cedar Falls, IA and a son of the late Reinhold A. and Gertrude Weiskerch�n Miller. He attended Iowa State Teachers College. He retired from hotel management, was a Certified Hotel Administrator and a 40 year member of the Club Manager�s Association of America. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving for three years in the Pacific Theatre, where he was one of the first Sonarmen. He was a member of the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City. Surviving is his wife of 62 years; a daughter, Pamela Oxenfield and her husband, Steven, of St. Paul, MN; two sons, Daniel Miller and his wife, Linda, of Greenwood, SC and Bradford L. Miller and his wife, Donna, of Stonington, CT; two grandsons, Mathew Miller and Blake Oxenfield and his wife, Jessica; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Erwin Miller.
