Eula Mae Wheeler Ward, 95, formerly of 2711 Sam Hodges Road, Donalds, widow of Jerry Walter Ward passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at NHC of Greenwood.
Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Ruth Berry Wheeler. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Bethel Ladies Sunday School class and the Golden Age Group. Her calling in life was to be an influence to others through her caring nature.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her children, Jean Massey and Bobby J. Ward, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Brian Ward (Ann) of Chappells, Mike Ward (Amy), and Stephanie Reames (Johnson), both of Donalds; five great grandchildren, Ashley Boyter (Ryan), Elizabeth Bunn (Ryan), Scurry Elrod, Tyler Pardue, and Crispin Pardue; four great great grandchildren, Kaden Boyter, Ava Boyter, Hadley Boyter, and Audrey Bunn; and son-in-law, Raymond Massey of Donalds.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Randy Ouzts and Brian Ward officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family members will be at their respective homes.
