Eunice Moser Massey, 86, resident of Hunters Creek, wife of Ronald "Ron" Massey, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born on April 12, 1938, in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Dessie Mae Moser. Eunice was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Daughn's Business College in Greenville. She worked in the medical field for over 25 years and prior to that she was a secretary in several businesses. Eunice had schooling and training at Greenville General Hospital for EEG's and was instrumental in helping with the neurosurgeon to set up the EEG Lab at Self Memorial Hospital. She also had advance studies for EEG's at Columbia Baptist Hospital, Ohio State University and Duke University. Eunice also received a certificate from Liberty Bible Institute on Bible Survey. She was a member of South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church where she previously taught Sunday school for preteen boys and taught with the youth group.
She was preceded in death by a premature daughter, Michelle Massey; and her siblings, Dennis Moser, Glenn Moser, John Robert Moser and Flonnie Shirley.
She is survived by her beloved husband of the home.
Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Bailey, Rev. Ray Massey and Rev. Alvin Hodges officiating. Entombment will be private.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12-1pm.
