Evelyn Norrell Rawls, 66, of 119 Pope Street, companion of Gary Elwood, died Sunday, February 09, 2014 at her home. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Thelma Norrell Norrell. Evelyn was a biscuit maker for Hardees�s in Abbeville and retired after 25 years of service. She was of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll �Tuffy� Rawls; and two sons, David Wright and John Wright. Surviving in addition to her companion of the home are two daughters, Diane Pulley and husband, Chris, of Greenwood and Lisa Hay and Harold Harris, of Waterloo; two sisters, Frances Powell of Atlanta, GA and Edith Norrell of TN; a brother, Bill Norrell of Abbeville; nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky Clark, Wayne Clark, Alex Villafurte, Maurice Tullis, Donnie Strickland, and Boogie Strickland.
