Faye Patterson Rhodes Minitor, 84, formerly of 141 Victory Lane, Warrenville, SC, wife of Melvin Minitor, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home in Aiken. Born in Enoree, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Vera Knighton Patterson. Faye was a housewife and a member of Victory Baptist Church of North Augusta. She supported Melvin in mission work to Migrants throughout the South East. She was twice married, first to the late Isaac Edgar Rhodes and second to Melvin M. Minitor. Surviving are a son, Michael Andrew Rhodes (Eleanor) of Hodges; a daughter, Wanda Reynae DeYoung (Ronnie) of Duncan; a sister, Mildred Shealy of Greenwood; two brothers, Wendel Patterson (Faye) of Greeneville, TN and Paul Patterson (Mary) of Clinton; two grandchildren, Andrew Hudson Rhodes (Anna Marie) of Hodges and Ashley Robison of Startex; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Knighton; three brothers, Ray, Earl, and Eugene Patterson; and three sisters, Ineze McGinnis, Louise Harris, and Grace Blakley. The family is at the home of her son, Michael; 131 Downs Road, Hodges.
