Faye Turner Thompson, 86, of 105 Oaklane Drive, widow of Jack R. Thompson, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late JC "Bo" Turner and Ruth Garrett Turner. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of Woodfields Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Jay "Skeeter" Thompson (JoLynne) of Greenwood, Jim Thompson (Lisa) of LaGrange, GA, Jack "Sam" Thompson, Jr. of the home; her daughter, Lynn Wilson (Bo) of Greenwood; sister, Clara "Duck" Cobb (Ty) of Greenwood; brothers, Bill Turner of Greenwood and Stanley Turner of Laurens; grandchildren, Will Thompson, Laura Ann Thompson, Lee Wilson (Susan), Michael Wheless, Bailey Thompson (Hannah), JP Lamb (Jewel), Taylor Carvajal (Mikey), and Samantha Thompson; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Turner.

Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryant Sims officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends for one hour following the service at the funeral home.
