Wonna Faye Collins Turner, 87, formerly of 95 Lowell Street, Ninety Six, widow of Beaman Turner, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at NHC of Greenwood. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Burrell Collins and Jessie Vaughn Collins. Faye worked for Greenwood Mills-Ninety Six Plant for twenty four years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She retired from Capsugel and was a member of Ninety Six Church of God where she was in the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sharpe; and by two brothers, Roger Collins and George Collins. Surviving are a son, Ray B. Turner, Jr. and his wife Louise, of Greenwood; three daughters, Vera Ridlehoover, Lois Chastain and her husband, Rick, all of Ninety Six and Doris Emasie and her husband Tom, of Lexington; son-in-law, Billy Sharpe of Turbeville; two sisters, Lillie Knight and June Williamson, both of Charleston; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
