Elizabeth Faye Wheless Young, of 208 Fairforest Drive, wife of Marshall Ray Young, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at NHC Health Care Center.

Born in Lincolnton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Aileen Angel Wheless. She was retired from Capsugel and attended South Greenwood Assembly of God.

Surviving is her husband of almost 61 years; two sisters, Montene Long of North Augusta and Melba Alexander of Greenwood; a brother, Billy Wheless of Simpsonville; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the Station 1 Staff of NHC, especially to Marie, and also to Judy Griffin, for their loving care.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Carroll Harrison officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday in the chapel mausoleum from 1 to 2 p.m.

It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the charity of your choice.

Family members are at their respective homes.
