Obituary

Felicia Styron Lowman, widow of Johnnie Lowman, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2026.

Born on June 17, 1928, in Saluda, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mattie Burnette Styron. Felicia's life was marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and her passions.

Throughout her 97 years, Felicia made a profound impact on those around her. She was an excellent cook, renowned among family and friends for her culinary talents. Her joy extended to nurturing her vegetable garden, spending tranquil hours cane pole fishing, and finding delight in watching cooking shows on television. Felicia's love for travel was intertwined with her heartfelt commitment to missionary work along the coastlines of the Carolinas, Jamaica, and Florida. This calling not only enriched her own life but touched the lives of countless others. A very active member of Harris Methodist Church, she was well known within the congregation, particularly among the members of the "Yahoo Club," where she found fellowship and purpose.

Felicia was the last surviving member of her family, and was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Annette Lowman.

Surviving are her son, Ronald "Ron" Lowman, who, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and her Harris church family also stands beside them, honoring her memory and the many ways she enriched their lives.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on June 15, 2026, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to Harris Methodist Church Sunday school, PO Box 50781, Greenwood, SC 29649.
