Florene Dudley Burden, 79, of 423 Morgan Avenue, widow of Charles Alton Burden, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Linnie Fleeman Dudley. She was employed as a seamstress with Nantex, was a homemaker and was an avid gardener. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Brenda Wells of Corpus Christi, TX; a son, Michael Keith Burden of Saluda; two sisters, her twin, Corene Wallace and Tommie Holmes, both of Greenwood; a brother, �Dab� Dudley of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Charles Smith, Angela Stryk and Josie Burden and two great grandchildren, Danielle Smith and Sydney Stryk.
