Floyd Nelson Alexander, 70, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024.

Born in Madison County, Georgia, he was a son of the late Cecil John Alexander and Lurene Barrett Alexander. Floyd was a fencing installer and was a loving father and grandfather. He was a talented musician playing guitar in the band 221 Express and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Loyd Alexander.

Surviving are his sons, Lee Alexander (Brandi), James Alexander (Leabee) and Ray Alexander (Laura) who was his caregiver; daughter, Rebecca Johnson; grandchildren, Amber Alexander, Audrey Alexander, Garrett Alexander, Ashley Franklin (AJ), AJ Alexander, Gavin Alexander and Laney Holland; and great grandchildren, Brandon James, Bridget Franklin and Brantley Alexander and Brooklyn Hatfield.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 2-3pm.

Family members are at their respective homes.
