Frances C. Blackstone, 86, of 119 Yancey Road, widow of Charlie Blackstone, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Joel Lee Yancey and Margaret Jones. She retired from Parke Davis and was a charter member of Sandridge Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Edmunds and her husband Eddie of Ninety Six; a son, Buck Clary and his partner Dobbie McNeill of Ninety Six; three sisters, Margie Mitchell of Ninety Six, Helen Lawson of Greensboro, NC, and Jett Rowland of Rockwell, NC; two grandsons, Robbie Ivester and his wife Tammy and Charlie Edmunds, both of Ninety Six; two granddaughters, Annette Woodward and her husband Jeff of Austin, TX and Joy Edwards and her husband Bill of Ninety Six; four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and four grand-dogs, Buddie, Sadie, Fidget, and Smokie. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Clary and twin infants, Mary Helen and Martha Ellen Clary. Pallbearers will be Buck Clary, Dobbie McNeill, Eddie Edmunds, Charlie Edmunds, Robbie Ivester and Alan Ivester. Honorary escort will be Ted Mitchell, Dennis Childs, Jerome Ouzts and Ray Corley.
