Frances Elizabeth O'Shields Chapman, 94, of Greenwood, widow of James Edward Chapman passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at Emerald Gardens.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Richard O'Shields and Florence Terry O'Shields. Frances was a former nursing assistant at Self Memorial Hospital and a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Susan Long (Johnny) and Richard Chapman; two grandchildren, Crosby Long (Keran) and Taylor Long Graves (Kyle); great grandchildren, Paisley Long, Henley Graves and Crawford Graves; bonus great grandchildren, Garrett, Alyse, Kadyn and Raegan Hodges; sisters, Essie O'Shields and Barbara O'Shields; and a brother, Tommy O'Shields.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Effie Pitts, Joan Chapman, Thelma Madarang, Mary Butler, Bill O'Shields and Fred O'Shields.

Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Ventrello officiating. Entombment will be private.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
