Frances G. Duncan, 94, formerly of 113 Crestview Drive, widow of Floyd Duncan, died Friday, August 08, 2014 at NHC of Greenwood. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late James Olin and Nannie Cooper Godfrey. Frances retired from Greenwood Mills � Mathews Plant. She was a member of Greenwood First Assembly, Prayer Partners, and had a prison ministry at Leath Correctional Institute. Surviving are three sons, Melvin Duncan of Greenwood, Marion Duncan (Sharon) of Columbia, and Floyd Duncan (Martha) of Pelzer; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Frances was the last surviving member of her immediate family; she was one of 11 children, seven sisters and four brothers. Pallbearers will be Steve Duncan, Robbie Alexander, Preston Alexander, Randy Alexander, Roger Shaw, Jason Hage, Scott Heise and Kevin Hage. Honorary escort will be Dr. Mike Shurden, Dr. Susan Shurden, Hope Shaw, Pennie Crane, Chelsea Williams, and the Caregivers of NHC.
