Frances Goodman Jamison, 90, former resident of Ninety Six, widow of Dwight Jamison, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Wesley Commons. Born in Cross Hill, she was the daughter of the late John Calvin Goodman and Fannie Mae Jones Godman. Mrs. Jamison was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked for Monsanto, retired from Greenwood Mills- Adams Plant and also worked at the Piggly Wiggly in Ninety Six. Mrs. Jamison was a former member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six and Hollie Drummond Sunday School Class. She is now a member of North Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Harold Adrain Jamison and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Brock of Greenwood; a son, Donald E. Jamison of Greenwood; six grandsons, Robert Dwight Prince, Richard Kenneth Prince, Daniel Earl Jamison, Donald L. Jamison, Ronald L. Jamison and Brian Hermanson; and one granddaughter, Cynthia Jordan Jamison. Pallbearers will be Daniel Jamison, Robert Prince, Richard Prince, Mickey Goodman, John Benjamin and Bryan Hermanson.
