Frances Collins Vaughn, 94, of 412 Panacea Road, widow of William Asbury Vaughn, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Effie Porter Collins. Mrs. Vaughn retired from Mathews Mills, an avid Gardner and loved her flowers. She was a charter member of Mathews United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister, Doris Brown, of Greenville; many nieces and nephews and close neighbors and friends. The family is at the home.
