Franklin Mills Jacks, 76, of 308 Chinquapin Road, husband of Rose Maturo Jacks, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Cross Hill, he was a son of the late John Lyles Jacks and Ladell Fuller Jacks. He was retired from Republic Steel and had also worked for Connie Maxwell Children�s Home. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a member of Columbia Lodge No. 25 A.F.M., Glastonbury, CT and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his wife of the home; a son, David A. �Big Dave� Jacks and his wife, Michelle, of Comer, GA; a daughter, Sharlene �Shar� R. Jacks of Buford, GA; three grandchildren, Melissa Fletcher and her husband, Thomas �Frankie�, of Ninety Six, Tiffany Jacks of Greenwood and Anthony Vioglavich of Buford, GA; and four great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Price, Kortney Price and Landen Fletcher, all of Ninety Six and Mila Lindsey of Greenwood.
