Gary Ellison Davis, 68, of 409 Shrine Club Road, husband of Clovia Adams Davis, died Monday, June 10, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Harold and Jean Cooper Davis. He graduated from Piedmont Technical College, where he received his Associates Degree in welding. Gary coached youth sports for 22 years; was a SC Army National Guard veteran; and a Mason. He was a member of New Life Holiness Pentecostal Church and enjoyed fishing, the Clemson Tigers, cooking, gardening, and his fur companion, Maggie.

He was preceded in death by his beloved fur companion, Gypsy.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Jennifer Lindley (Greg) of Ware Shoals, Jamie Davis (Crystal) of Greenwood, April Getz (Alex), Ashley Beckham (Daniel), both of Columbia, and Amanda Kelley of Greenwood; two sisters, Marsha D. Smith of Honea Path and Karen D. Gunnells of Donalds; and nine grandchildren, Will Lindley, Karlie Lindley, Carlie Gibert, Anna Grace Getz, Adam Getz, Marlee Beckham, Rylee Beckham, Mason Wallace and Adalyn Wallace.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Adrian Anderson officiating.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
