Martin Gary Harrison, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Magnolia Manor. 

Born in Lincolnton, Georgia, he was the son of Goodwin and Sarah Spires Harrison Kinney. 

Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force who retired as a Master Sargeant and served his country with honor. After his military service, he spent a dedicated career working in the tool crib at Monsanto until his retirement. Outside of work, he was a model train collector who loved building tracks and sharing his hobby with others. 

He is survived by a son, Martin Gary Harrison, Jr. (Kelly); sister, Bonnie McCombs (Larry); and grandchildren, Zack Harrison (Valerie Leary) and Brecken Harrison Quinn (Johnathan). 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bowers Harrison; and stepfather Charlie "CM" Marvin Kinney. 

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026, 3:00 PM at Greenwood Memorial Gardens officiated by Reverend Randy Ouzts. 

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
