Carolyn Gean Kinkaid Sheets, 75, of Greenwood, SC, widow of Stephen Larry Sheets, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.

Born in Morgantown, WV, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel Rosellen West Kinkaid. She was a Registered Nurse at Fairmont General Hospital, where she received all of her nursing education and training. Mrs. Sheets was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Relief Society, and Ward Single Adult Representative.

Surviving are her children, John Sheets (Debra) of Austin,TX, Ruth Pearman (James) of Greenwood,SC, Jacob Sheets (Susan) of Greenwood, SC, and Matthew Sheets of Goose Creek, SC; a brother, William Kinkaid (Carolyn) of Morgantown, WV; and seven grandchildren, Kayt Norsten, Eric Hiller, Valerie Ann Cooper, Tori Nicole Cooper, Adam Jacob Sheets, Mark William Sheets, and Luke Stephen Sheets.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Bill Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be John Sheets, Jacob Sheets, Matthew Sheets, and James Pearman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory.

The family members will be at their respective homes.
