Gene Paul Coulter, 57, of Greenwood, husband of Angela Duke Coulter, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home. Born in Charleston, he was a son of Harriett Hutson Cumbee and the late R. Gene Coulter. Gene was a US Navy veteran and was formerly employed with Fuji Photo Film. He was an avid hunter and a member of Jordan Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother and stepfather, Harold of Summerville are two children, Ashley Smith (Len) of Fountain Inn and Dustin Lee Funderburk of Greenwood; a sister, Liann Gunther (Mike) of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Billy Coulter of Cottageville and Randy Coulter of Hanahan; three grandchildren, Aniston, Holden and Brannon Gore, all of Fountain Inn; and several treasured nieces and nephews.
