Eugene "Gene " Logan Ford, 62, of 105 Faye Drive, husband of Lori Stockman Ford, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late James and Mary Botts Ford. Gene was a Diesel Mechanic, retired from Carolina Pride, and was a member of Sandridge Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 29 years; a son, Joseph Ford of Ninety Six; three daughters, Susan Weeks (Jeff) of Middleburg, FL, Amy Smith (Daniel) of Greenwood, and Julie Leflore (Sam) of Pelzer; two sisters, Mary Scott of Chappells and Rebecca Quinn (John) of Ware Shoals; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a special companion Co Co, his beloved dog. He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Ford; a brother, James A. Ford. Pallbearers will be Mike Scott, William Scott, David Stockman, Eddie Covington, Nevit Ellenburg, and Chris Teasley.
