George Harold �Chip� Crittendon, 36, of 214 Bowles Avenue, husband of Sherry Shaw Crittendon, died Friday, May 15, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Abbeville, he was a son of George Harold Crittendon, Jr. and Jane Hudson Crittendon. Chip was an Electrician with Hunington & Guerry Electrical and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of the home; his father of Hodges; his mother of Greenwood; three children, Brittni Crittendon, Trevor Crittendon and Gavin Crittendon, all of the home; a brother Michael Crittendon of Greenwood; maternal grandmother Mildred Hudson of Greenwood; paternal grandmother Velma Maynard of Greenwood; father-in-law Roger Shaw and his wife Hope, of Greenwood; and mother-in-law Brenda Shaw of Hodges. The family is at the home.
