George W. Reece, III, 51, of Donalds, husband of Claudette McAllister Reece, died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late George W. Reece, Jr. and Hazel Lindley Reece. George was a former carpenter with Harrisons Builders. He loved his family and loved spending time with his granddaughter. George enjoyed drag racing, dirt bikes and you could always find him tinkering with his many projects.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy McCulley.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Trevor Reece (Kaitlin); his precious granddaughter Mckenzli Reece; sisters, Sherrie Rogaczewski (Wayne), Tammie Burnett and Beverly Brooks (Mike); three brothers, Rex Reece (Allison) Randy Reece and Ronnie Wood; a brother-in-law, Ken McCulley; along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clay Scott and Rev. Kelly King officiating. The service will be live streamed by visiting George's life tribute page at www.harleyfuneralhome.com , where you can leave messages for the family.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1-2 pm on Thursday.
