Obituary

George Jervis Shull, 70, of 103 Brookwood Lane, Greenwood, SC, husband of Kathleen Allen Shull, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Chevy Chase, MD, he was the son of the late Frank and Marjorie Shull. He attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. George was a self-employed financier. He was an avid golfer and a classically trained pianist whose musical passion was jazz. He attended Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Kathleen, is a daughter, Julia Finegan (Kyle) of NY and granddaughter, Madeleine; a son, Todd Shull (Erica) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and grandson, Jackson; step daughters, Katie Corlett Hamby of Dunwoody, GA and Reagan Cowley (Clay) of Canton, GA (son, Aiden); two sisters, Marilynn Brown of Raleigh, NC and Barbara Hartley of Rocky Mt., NC; a brother, Frank Shull, Jr. of Bethesda, MD; special in-laws, Steve and Dianne Wilson of Clancy, MT; John and Judi Allen of Roswell, GA; Cynthia Kelly of Moraga, CA; dear friends Bill and Barbara Rambo of Greenwood, Rick and Ayme Black of Seneca, SC and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 14th, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carol Peppers Wray officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 1808 Callison Highway, Greenwood, SC 29646.
