George Edward Hand, Sr., 80, of 211 Sylvan Road, husband of Marie L. Hand, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Surviving is his wife; a daughter, Lyn Cantrell (Larry) of Centerville, VA; a son, George Edward Hand, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; two stepdaughters, Petite White (Mike) of Greenwood and Sheri Hendrix (James) of Newberry; a stepson, Dan Oswald (Georgeanna) of Silverstreet; a sister, Peggy Murphy of Norfolk, VA; and nine grandchildren.
